Due to sustained pressure from competition and imports, plus the Swiss currency situation, the planned process of relocating vinyl window production from Altstätten (CH) to Pravenec (SK) is accelerated.

Alexander von Witzleben and Michael Pieper are elected new members of the Board of Directors. Alexander von Witzleben also takes up the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors of AFG.

AFG announces the planned takeover of the Looser Group together with its doors, industrial services and coatings businesses. AFG continues the pro- cess of selling the coatings business, announced by Looser in 2016.

AFG successfully places 2.64 million shares for refinancing the Koralle transaction.

At the Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting, the shareholders agree to a capital increase relating to the takeover of the Looser Group.

The process of relocating vinyl window production from Villeneuve (CH) to Pravenec (SK) is successfully completed.

6 December 2016

AFG publishes the final result of the public purchase and exchange offer for the takeover of the Looser Group, and discloses that it now holds a 97.53 % shareholding in Looser.

13 December 2016

The takeover of the Looser Group is completed. At the same time, AFG is renamed Arbonia.

The process of relocating special radiator production from Arbon (CH) to Stříbro (CZ) begins as planned and is scheduled for completion at the end of January 2017.
